yeah i skate.. in fact, because its such a nice day here i decided to dust off the board for a skate into Uni... is good fun and helps break creative dilema's

've been skating since 86 too, with the first Bryce Kanight board, ... I had every board you can imagine, Hosoi, Hawk, Caballlero, Lance Mountain, Vallely, Kaupas, Way, etc etc.. i stopped in 95 as i realised i was getting too old foer that shit :) but i'm still in love with skateboard and i think if u did skate for many years you'll never forget it..
i've been surfing and snowboarding too : it's perfect were i live : 10 mins from the sea, 1 hour from the mountains
and yes, so many skaters my age (32) are now into design etc..i think we already talked about that here

i used to skate but gave up after
some boy racer crashed his car into me (i was on a motorbike) and fuct me up for good..He broke my leg and I was intesive care for a month because bone got into my bloodstream.. (not good apparently)
That was nearly ten years ago now.. I can walk easily enough and stuff, but cant skate (or run) anymore.

i think it’s nice to skate after sitting the whole day in front the screen ... would like to learn surfing, too. but the next good surf is quite far away. i live in the middle of germany (cologne) ... :-(

having skated on & off since '86,
i find nike's skate shoe a lame attempt and should be avoided at all opportunities. they don't have skateboardings best interest's at heart...
