Seriously you hit one with your car?!? Oh dude... wash your car ASAP. Coyote's are EXTREMELY territorial and part of a pack. If one of their own doesn't come back for a while they hunt it down by scent and find it, they can track your car for miles dude. I've known people here in the country who have been attacked a week later after hitting one because they didn't wash the scent off their car enough. Seriously... be careful.

That reminds me of a time in México, we we're traveling up a mountain and saw a horse who had been hit, half dead on the road and another one right by it's side like trying to help, the saddest thing ever! As we passed by the one on the floor looked me straight in the eyes... i will NEVER forget that horrible feeling or the site of that. it still makes me sad.
So trust me, I get it when you say your DNA merged..
