i'm not an advocate of the war and don't condone the actions of usa or uk, but you are in a very fortunate position to hold two passports, both in prosperous countries.
when you consider the lengths people are willing to go to get a uk passport you seem pretty blase about having one.

The threat of more terrorism on NYC or anyplace else existed regardless of what we did in Iraq. That's my entire point.
I'm just saying that the argument that this actions are going to cause terror is moot. It would happen anyways.
If anything it might prevent terror. I heard a report on TV this morning from one of the reporters in the square saying that some of the "imported" resistance (those from Syria and Jordan) that had come in in recent days just dropped their weapons once those tanks appeared and headed back to that hotel.

the main reason that the whole story of the swiss nazi gold was dropped by the media was the revelation that both uk and us held vast amounts of it too....many multiples of what was deposited in Switzerland for safe keeping.....and seeing as it was pressure from the us that initiated the settlement of these funds it proved a certain amount of embarassing hypocrisy.....
