The report on the so called scud attack on kuwait yesterday turned out to be false- they were smaller missiles perfectly legal under UN sanctions.
Question:
When Iraq is getting slaughtered on the battlefield and in their cities, because they have no weapons capable of putting up any sort of resistance, do they have the right to purchase weapons to arm themeselves and prevent a further onslaught?
do they have the right of self preservation?

I would have to think that they can do it, but I guess not use chemical/biological weapons. UN is out the door anyway, what the hell do they care and what can they do at this point?

See, told ya, the thing about the Scuds was pure CNN speculation..., or -brainwashing from the media-.
Anyway, , about the WMD, noone ever give proof that they have it, eventually i guess if they have them, saddam is smart enough not to use them until he finds himself cornered, which none of us would not really like to happen.
