Still... there are bits of the trailer that look true (and cool)... .
Still haven't seen DD -- prolly in the coming week. Dunno what to think of it, but its just something i have to see as a comic book nut.

Nah, he was white, probably italian or cicillian (sp?) in the ol comics... The cartoon stayed pretty true to the comics visually for all or most of the characters. And for LXG... jeez seeing that trailer made me think connery had given up on acting... so I dont know. Either way I'm still all for telling anyone who has any remote interest in comics and the make believe to go see DD... it was cool I felt like seeing it again today, but yeah I'm a poor ass designer who am i kidding.

I was never into comic books, but I did like the spiderman movie (to my own surprise). It was a greek tragedy. Totally. Like prometheus or sysyphus or one of those guys. The thing that makes spiderman a hero, are not his superpowers, but his incorruptable morals.
And all the shit blowing up was cool too...

The TV show is much truer than the film series, it's not even close.
There is still a deviation from the Miller sauces.
