Yeah, just got back from a night with the woman, and good ol' Daredevil... I liked it, Marvel's keeping with that comic book feeling hardcore, I feel like I'm turning the page on every scene nowadays... I like that feeling... Sure others have opinions... oh and I didn't think the suit was too bad, and the kevin smith appearance was well needed too wo0t.

i still wanna see it... but a black kingpin?!? cmon :/
stay true to the comic, kinda like with spiderman that he could shoot web naturally was kinda a let down if you know the comic book.

My thoughts exactly! How the f*ck is he gonna do impact webbing later on!?!?
Ah well, shit. Entertaining for the masses I guess.

i applaud the makers of SpiderMan for doing the organic web shooters.
this guy has super strength, spidey sense, the ability to climb walls. why wouldn't he have the spiders innate web ability?there are just way too many comic book movies. the market is saturated.

"way too many comic book movies"
huh? only recently with spiderman and xmen has there been (major) comic book films...
I love em anyhow.
- jjwalker0
the market will be too saturated with comic book films when they can't break like $75 million ... until then i say keep makin'em for the masses...
..and as long as the studios keep reaping huge profits, they will...

The kingpins race wasn't very neccessary, Micharl C Duncan acted the part really really well, so well, I think a large white man just couldn't have out performed. For spideys web-factor, it was a matter of aesthetics and function that was made at the last minute. They designed his web gauntlets and well, they just looked bulky, and unlike something a high school dork could make. And for saturation of comic book movies, well I don't mind it, being a comic book dork I like it... I heard an announcement that the next marvel movie will be Iron Man... now that shall be leet.... and I can't wait to see collussus in rare form in x2 .... double wo0t
- quamb0
dork, leet, and wo0t all in the one post.
cant be beat.

Saturation.......

"you know like, the shinning, psycho, psycho, psycho, the haunting, exorcist... what else am I missing..."

I liked it, don't get me wrong. Esp. the way the senses were shown..neato!
But DAREDEVIL does NOT kill!!! I mean it's cool to break some of the rules for a better movie...but not that one, now he's just a second run batman.
- ok_static0
haven't see DD yet, will be shown next week here.
and me definately looking forward to the Batman Year One by Darren Aronofsky.
- ximeraLabs0
Gonna see DD pretty soon...
And no, the movie market isn't saturated with comicbook flicks. Well -- it isn't yet, but it'll probably be. Until we get a new Batman forever, we'll keep seeing more comicbook movies. And why not? Tons of great material to plunder from.
And on that note:

Comic books are a great source for movies. I see no reason why anyone would stop it (unless they start making Batman's like the last 3). People know the characters, you already have a story line (DD was my fav when I was a kid, still got around 150 of them, hope they increase in value : ). DD could have been a multiple movie line (should have been) like LOTR. When Elektra is revived, etc., etc. (I bought that issue for $15 bucks when I was 10! Probably worth $16 by now!). Great stories, great characters. So much better thatn this XXX crap! I'll see them all, so it seems a good bet to me.

- tank0

the league of extraordinary gentlemen looks like it is going to really blow: it's not an action comic! so i'm hoping against hope that it's just a bad preview?!
but none the less I can't help be excited....
