The Jews don't have nearly as much of a lobby, or power, over here in the UK as they do in the USA.
Man - the Jewish lobby over there is crazy - the power to make and break presidents - sickening....

whoah hold on... your comments can easily be percieved as racist. by no means are all jewish folks collective in thought. likewise any other ethnicity. there are plenty of non-jewish folks who support Israel for many reasons and there's nothing wrong with Israel in concept. It's the policies of the Israeli government that are at question here not "the Jews." just want to make that clear.

"there's nothing wrong with Israel in concept."
Actually I find plenty wrong with the Zionist and world politics that created Israel. First of all the people living there shouldn't have been displaced. They've been trying to get their homes back ever since.
Since they displaced some thought should have been given to helping the Palestinians in 48 when the Zionists took over instead of grinding them into the ground.

I realize it's a little too late now to disolve Israel. I wish it weren't but that would cause more instability than invading Iraq.
I do think that the creation of Israel was wrong and a root cause of many of todays problems. A population was displaced for Israel to exist. People who lived there for generations. Such a thing would not happen in today's world. There are people alive today in refugee camps dating from 48 that still have the keys and deeds to their previous homes. The Right Of Return is a slogen that refers to these people wanting their land and homes back.
Israel needs to own up to the fact that they don't have some devine right to this land. God didn't give it to them. They took it.

It's fucking brutal none the less over there. People on both sides are getting hammered. I guarantee the planners and profiteers of this mess are safe. It's always the citizens that get it.
