I cant remember designing things hardly. All I do in this job is take shit off tossers, select images, file stuff and use hotmail. Crap job, but if that sounds good to you....

I don't understand the question, be more especific: You need another job because you're a freelancer and can't get any clients to survive? Because you're a freelancer and can't think of anything original to do cause you're drained? Because you have a job that you don't feel good in? Because you have a job and your boss is a moron? Because you don't have a job and you refeer as "job" your lame status in your career? Because design wasn't in your blood anyways? I've never heard anybody said that about design, is either you're a designer or not!

well macasoFL, I have a degree in graphic design, an MA in Graphic design, 3 and a half years of top agency experience, and I recently have come to the oppinion that design bores the shit out of me, it isn't like the broshure said it would be in Uni.
I don't know why that is, maybe there just aren't any cool projects to do out there at the moment... no one is spending ad budgets...
was looking at taking a sebatical, and do an operation raleigh project (http://www.raleigh.org.uk/) like building a school in Boliva for three months, and then coming back and doing something completely different, like a park ranger or something

you only need a grand, if you go as a memebr of staff. they have openings like expidition artist or expidition photographer, which I could do.I have a bit of savings, to cover my morgage.
I am seriously concidering it, but for a while I have concidered getting a full time job for a charity. At the company I work for now we have done quite a bit of charity stuff, and I've won awards from it, and I really enjoyed doing it.
Id love to get a job as communications director for the NSPCC or something like that

Well my friend Kingkezza, it's good you have all those titles and I congratulate you dude, but I wouldn't base my career on any brochure, I understand most people change careers when they graduate, and they take a turn for the best, so if design bores you, that means is not for you dude (even if you're good), but just give it another try and create new stuff, not just go by whatever is outthere!

Millions of people in this world does not have that luxury of education, working for a decent wage or having regular meals on the table.

I have been into self defense for a while and love to help people - I am investigating possible poistions in the FBI and Law Enforcement agencies...this is my year. I dont care if it is in design - I will be on the road to a successful career one way or another.
For me it will be trying to help others through police or the like agencies.
