I received a project from another designer that is for some simple lower third animations. I need to change the color of a rectangle that slides in from lower left, but when I drill down into it, the RGB values are listed as:
    R: 7,068
    G: 10,666
    B: 29,041

I need to enter a three digit value as per brand guidelines, but when I do, it shows the wrong color. What is going on with those values in the thousands? Please and thanks for any ideas here.

    • Try changing the bit depth to 8 in your project's settingsspl33nidoru
    • That's it - thanks homiestoplying
    • And then send a kind email to whoever sent you that shit, lest it repeat itself.garbage
    • Make sure you can see the 'Info' panel (looks similar to usual adobe one), Click the hamburger menu, choose8-bpc.shapesalad
    • Don't change actual project depth as that will mess up blending modes and introduce banding to gradients.shapesalad
    • Thanks shape...stoplying
    • Good call shape, from the project description I assumed these problems wouldn't occur, but they mightspl33nidoru
    • No worries - I had this problem myself, took me ages to find where to change the setting, hidden away in the info panel...shapesalad
    • Yes, DON'T change the bit depth.
Use hex numbers for the brand color.
