My work shipped me a 16” MacBook Pro M1 MAX. Lol I would have preferred a 13” or 14” but nobody asked me.
Anyway, this thing is huge, heavy, boxy, and kind of absurd. Without tapered edges it’s so clunky looking and feeling. It has giant rubber feet. Looks ridiculous. The notch doesn’t bother me and the UI around it is interesting.
This may be impressive tech but it feels like a step back in industrial design. It reminds me of the design of MacBook from 2006 but with a cheap plastic keyboard.

Perfect size. ports HDR screen is really good. My older laptop now feels like a netbook.err - Everyone is slamming the casing on these new models, but I still think it's pretty good. It's a freakin' tool. My goal is to avoid spending time with it...nocomply

- Also the big improvement in battery life is a great thing for portability...most of the time I no longer bring the charger when working remotely.yuekit
