My Mom's battling COVID... she's vaccinated which is frustrating cuz it's got ahold of her pretty good (however probably the reason she's not as bad as she could be).
She's heading to the ER for a monoclonal antibody IV... her breathing is rough and she's battling a number of other shitty expected symptoms... sucks I can't be with her right now.
She's 70 and sufferers from heart disease and asthma... you'd think her 58 yr old husband out of love would have gotten vaccinated w/her... except he refused and continued to go to his work site, sharing vehicles / tight spaces w/fellow dickheads unwilling to get vaccinated. He brought it home to Mom... not sure how i feel about it all (yes... one might consider him a standard anti-vaxxer redneck). :/

my daughter was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins lymphoma back in March.exador1 - She's doing super well, and is expected to make a full recovery.exador1
- that said, this has been the single worst 6/7 months of our lives. It's been absolutely fucking brutal.exador1
- we're about 1.5 months away from finishing the intense chemo treatments, then she'll be in what they call 'maintenance' phase which will last about 2 years...exador1
- everything you've ever heard/seen read about how hard chemo is?
