    I have a Surface Pro 6 here in front of me; and between 3 of us, we can't get Narrator to turn off. The thing is stuck on a region select screen and no amount of tapping or pressing anything will disable this guy talking.

    There is a blue outline box active on the screen but tapping it or anywhere else on screen will not make it disappear. Anything that should be interacted with on screen can not be interacted with, only hearing "command not available".

    Trying to turn off the device requires a swipe down that the active Narrator prevents from being able to swipe.

    Feeling dumb. Good job Microsoft.

    • even a hard reset opens back up to the same problemimbecile
    • I'm sure you might have tried this, but the command turn turn off and on is Windows + Enter - maybe plug in a keyboard and try that? Fuck M$spot13
    • Caps+s or caps+r do something with narrator. Maybe caps+enter toggles on and off? Anyways. Caps is the function key for narrator related stuff afaikmonNom
