Anyone else extremely sensitive to weather conditions? I don't know why I'm always so affected, depressed & down on grey, cloudy & rainy days.

I should probably move to LA or some other no-seasons-always-sunny location.

    • Did you grow up in a no-seasons-always-su... location?drgs
    • No.NBQ00
    • those symptoms are pretty normal, specially in fall. on the other side around the sun, you experience highs when spring kicks in.uan
    • The opposite for me. I grew up above the polar circle, I love autumn, it reminds me of my hometown. Also, extra cozy to play video games when its raining.drgs
    • yes. Hence why I love Lisbon.shapesalad
    • Instant dread = cold weather, super low dark grey cloud, UK's depressing council estate architecture, tacky generic high st shops and some burqa's.shapesalad
    • ^ it's a combination of things that equal instant depression and feelings of "I've got to get out this shitehole." Can be found all over London/UK.shapesalad
    • the most depressing thing about the UK currently is you droning on about itFax_Benson
    • I've been sensitive to temperature change, which makes fall and spring in Chicago hell for me.mg33
    • However... I had sinus surgery in March and I'm excited to hopefully not experience the dreadful sinus colds I'd get when the weather would start changingmg33
    • The slightest bit of congestion would get me clogged up, no breathing through nose, and instant depression for 3 weeks until it passed.mg33
    • I'd never have hurt myself, but these issues made me understand why people with serious chronic health issues get suicidal. So glad I can breathe better now!mg33

    • @NBQ00: Late autumn and winter are really, really bad for my mental health, so I empathise.Continuity

    • ^ The rainy season has started up here, and this thing is cheap and works wonders. Just set it to your side about 2 feet away while you have breakfast / coffeegarbage
    • Helps with sleep and mood. Bonus: When I'm not using it, I shine it on my carnivorous plants.garbage
