  The comic books were great. Was a big fan of it. Good source material for a TV show. And don't get me wrong I like the show so far. But it's a bit of a let down. Is the problem the creator/director/producer, Frank Darabont. Why him? So what if he's directed a bunch of Steven King movies.
  And since it is an established genre with already decades worth of great movies, wouldn't the producer/director need to have a true new vision for this show to stand out and not be an ongoing series of "oh, I've seen that already, but better" and "why didn't the characters do this instead, don't they know zombie blood..."

  But it's still a decent stand-in until there's something else to watch.

  If I were living out the city because of the zombies, I'd get myself a decent truck or a shoveltruck (what are they called in english?) and by day go for supplies (tinned food, matches, lighters, arms, medical supplies and other utilities) hunting in the suburbs.

  Just realized the guy who directs this is the one who rewrote Stephen King's "The Mist" for the screen. Which was a decent monster film up until the horrible new "twist" ending he wrote into it.

  Apart from that. ep 3 was decent . Like the storyline with the woman, and Thought the opening was great with the hillbilly on the roof slipping in and out of madness.

  I think this show fails as soon as it deals with any kind action. the sound effect when there all bashing that zombie near the deer was awful. The guy is stabbing it with a pitch fork and there are no holes.

  I don't know, I think the show is pretty lame. The whole elderly-care gangster bit was hokey, and the ending of the episode was meh. "I need to use the bathroom". Hmm, I wonder how that will turn out.
