The comic books were great. Was a big fan of it. Good source material for a TV show. And don't get me wrong I like the show so far. But it's a bit of a let down. Is the problem the creator/director/producer, Frank Darabont. Why him? So what if he's directed a bunch of Steven King movies.
And since it is an established genre with already decades worth of great movies, wouldn't the producer/director need to have a true new vision for this show to stand out and not be an ongoing series of "oh, I've seen that already, but better" and "why didn't the characters do this instead, don't they know zombie blood..."But it's still a decent stand-in until there's something else to watch.
