People have the right to do whatever they want with their lives as long as they assume the moral, ethical, legal and theological consequences of their actions. God doesn't want you to kill yourself but I don't think he will stop you from doing so, he'll just make you pay for it later, that is, if you believe in that.

Yeah my sister actually has ALS like transfatty -- but an even more rare, fast and deadly form. The only reason why she hasn't taken her life is because they will deny her life insurance payout to her children.
So she just stopped eating so she'll starve to death faster.
I think in rare cases like that people should be granted some legal assistance. Otherwise they just have to hope that their DNR (do not recessitate) wishes are upheld (no water/food/tubes/breathing machines). But is that really the way someone has to go? It seems even more cruel.
