i think homosexuality prevention comes in a aerosol can at walmart now. you can spray your whole house
- mrdobolina0
how do you know that homosexuality is a choice?
- fortified0
what a hateful, petty and mean spirited and person. If he is to be judged based on the standards he believes everyone else should live up to, dude is going to hell.
Welcome to judgment day asshole.
- flagellum0
I should be more clear: I think that the homosexual *lifestyle* is a choice. I believe that homosexual "feelings" or "desires" are deeply ingrained since a very young age.
- flagellum0
was that for me, fortified? Goodness, I don't know what I've done to deserve that tirade, if so.
- flagellum0
goodnight, friends.

- lemmys_wart0
damn, this thread swelled faster than falwells corpse...
- flagellum0
lol, that's both mean and disgusting.
but well played.
- mrdobolina0
really, what is the difference between the homosexual lifestyle and being a homosexual?
Hiding it, repressing it until you are in your 40's and then destroy your family like the governor of NJ and Ted Haggard? Or am I missing something?
- flagellum0
that's a good question, mrdobolina. I don't think one should repress and try to ignore it. For the reasons you cite. I think one should either embrace it and live it out, or seek to overcome it.

The Christians I know, including myself, love homosexuals. They are sinners like myself. Doesn't mean I have to endorse the lifestyle they choose.

(May 15 07, 13:34)this is sick to read, man.
"The Christians I know, including myself, love homosexuals."
- so then no Christians can be or are homosexuals?"They are sinners like myself."
- why? why assume everyone is a 'sinner' (whatever that means to your sect of christianity)? oh, wait- you explained that one before; this is the idea that we are born with 'sin' and hence 'god' producing 'jesus' to atone for said 'sin' and acting as a model by which 'christians' need to follow to properly be cleansed of sin. this is the only time i can remember of being able to cut the cake and then choose the slice you eat."Doesn't mean I have to endorse the lifestyle they choose."
- by "they" are you referring to homosexuals or 'sinners'?
- flagellum0
ok bye
- gramme0
I'm not a sinner.
mrdobolina
(May 15 07, 13:35)Just curious, how would you define a "sinner"?

Just curious, how would you define a "sinner"?
gramme
(May 15 07, 13:50)someone who follows the christian faith... you are all sinners, right?

madrish:
- Depends on how you define "homosexuality". The term is not so black and white. The Bible teaches that anyone who places their faith in Jesus as the atonement for their sin, is a Christian, at that very moment and into eternity. But the Bible also teaches that once someone is Christ's, their desires change. They seek to please God and forsake inclinations that are not in line with His plan for their life. So, I believe that someone can struggle with homosexual desires and be a Christian. But I'm skeptical of those who claim to be Christians and who embrace an openly gay lifestyle. Because this would indicate that they are not being transformed into the likeness of Christ, which is what happens once someone has entered a relationship with Jesus.
- By "they" I was speaking of homosexuals.

Romans 3:23:
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
