hey guys i just wanted to say that there is no reason you cant let yourself celebrate the victory for the 8 million Iraqis today that voted. its ok to admit something good came out of it. nobody is questioning your anger for the U.S.A. I think we all see that you don't like America but you can still be happy sometimes.

if only design related threads would hit 100+ posts within 20 min..

I love America, I seriously dont know what you are talking about.

Let's get two things straight:
1. Iraquis voting (no matter how many) = GOOD
2. How we got there = F%CKED AS ALL GET OUT!
This IS the most expensive election in history.

at least be happy for the 8 million is all I am saying.
Those 8 million just want peace and to live with choice like you and today represented that. Stop pulling for and reporting loss, failure and death at the sake of urging anti-American sentiment. it's quite old and obviously doesn't work. it didn't work for Kerry and its not working for you in Iraq.

is freedom that soneone else gives you (on a tight leash) actually freedom?

8 million (70% registered voters) is a great turn out and even when considering their lives were threatened.
Much respect for the coalition, Iraqi people, Iraqi security forces and the interim government for their courage and for taking a stand against terrorism and dictatorship.
the media was wrong again! they predicted a blood bath and said that Iraq was such a mess that the elections couldn't happen. Goes to show you that the media is on a rampage of bullshit propaganda and are obviously out of touch with what is really going on in Iraq. It's on the table for everyone to see it.

it should be interesting to see how they try and spin this now.

I don't think anyone would take away the coolness of 8 million people in Iraq voting; I do think there is incredible, and valid, skepticism of what will happen next. Great, they voted. What's next?
Whoever wins will invariably be in a position to tell the US forces to boot ass out of Iraq and then what? I hope that the rose colored glasses here prevail and it's just peachy, but I see no way out of a civil war or incredible unrest. What will Bush do then?
