just because they voted doesnt mean that they agree with their country's invasion, cola.
- cola0
that's right Meeklo.
here in the US we haven't gotten cable or the internet yet so we only hear news from america. we dont even have a mixed culture and family in any other place but america. we dont have phones either to call friends who live in the middle east.
soon enough we will have these things but in the meantime we count on folk like you to inform us of what is going on.
cant wait until we get phones, internet, and cable so we can hear news from other parts of the world! must be great!

"just because they voted doesnt mean that they agree with their country's invasion, cola."
aren't we celebrating that they voted? mrdobolina i have this feeling you would have loved to see Iraqis die. Why do you think I see this in you?

personal jabs at people really doesnt prove anything.
- mrdobolina0
they didnt go there to liberate them cola, they went there because saddam was going to attack america.
- cola0

after the last four years and the changing reasons for invading iraq ... all and all, this election is a good thing for the people of iraq ...
although i have to wonder, is it all on the surface? at what price, in the future, will they have to pay for it? they will be forever in debt to the US for this. these things don't come for free. and i fear the loss of human life over the last years is only the beginning.

there are 22,219,289 people in Iraq. Take off 5 million for underage citizens, the turnout was at best 40%, most of which would have hated Saddam anyway like the kurds. I'm not sure it'll all work, as half the country will regard whomever gets in as a puppet president.
I really hope it all works out, but I can't see it somehow.

mrdobolina. it's over bro. sorry that it turned out good. you have to find something else too hate now. Bush done good and its eating you up.
bye cola! im out too.

There are still alot of people, myself included, who have a tough time swallowing the idea that America went to war with the interest of the Iraqi people in mind. The rhetoric of "spreading freedom" sounds more like a marketing strategy to show the war as an unselfish act.
It's just theatrics. Some people see it and some don't.
You can love freedom as much as the next guy and still have trouble buying the idea of 'celebration' that's being sold.
Or maybe I just hate parties... and freedom. No... that's not true.

hehe "Bush done good"
- 2cent0
bush done good?... what a fuckin joke that is... can you seriously sit there and say bush done good?
- Meeklo0
I was just trying to justify your point of view cola.
If you have all those things, that is a big step, now..
Try using them.. :)
It's up to you to liberate yourself and speak up!The worst blind is the one that doesn't want to see
:)
peace!
(and I mean it)

So Cola, is tonight a beer night? or do we finally get to drink "the kool-aid"?
....I heard that once the world is free of these tyrannical of terrorists, Bush will lead us all up the wrazzlebury waterfall where we'll ascend past heaven on a cigar shaped rocket ship!
- mrdobolina0
yeah poppa, I bet noone else will die in iraq now that they are free.
- janne0
this thread is just like invading iraq.
it seriously got out of hand.
i'm out.

I cannot believe some people come here only for arguing politics (yes you cola).
On a board like this (mostly open-minded creatives, in the best case), it's hard to find people with similar believes, innit?
I'm out.
- tomkat0
..and now I sound like a dutch echo.
although I did not read your post before, janne
:D
- lifeinsodium0
that's not true tomkat, i've seen cola ask a mac a qestion at least once. and maybe one design related comment too. the other comments 377 were about politics perhaps.
mrdobolina, i know i've said it before but you've got some patience man. respect.
- Jaline0
I once hated Bush so much, but I've gotten over it.
I'm pretty much neutral on this issue.
