well so much for intelligent debate. I'm out.

One way to ensure that Saddam doesn't disarm is to put hundreds of thousands of troops in the area and broadcast pictures of the cruise missiles you are going to use against him.
I mean how would he defend Iraq from the US-UK invasion? Bush and Blair have left him no room to disarm.

"do i want or love war? not at all. so much in fact, that i will not pick up a gun and kill someone with it... i don't even own a gun.
but i back any measures taken that will insure the safety of people in my country."
backing murder is what you are doing. and if you REALLY WANT SAFETY for the people in your country then you would not support bush because he is going to cause MORE TERRORISM.
If you believe in freedom for the iraqies and believe bush really is trying to free them, then get a gun and help, otherwise you are sending others to be canon fodder for your safety.
I cannot believe with all the information that is available, especially on the internet that people have not learned about the EVIL PASTS and deeds of the people currently in the bush administration.
I don't believe a word they say. After all the promises broken and all the lies told to us. Look at bush's speech last night.. He was tired and beaten down by repeating the same empty message. over and over and over....only one thing on his mind now ever since 911..."We've go to ensure peace....911..911.....911....911... is an evil man......911.......911........91... has defied the UN inspectors.....911.......911... want to free the iraqi people from opression and make the region safe.....911........911........9... to corporate sponsored commerical backing the war]
are you afraid yet? you should be.
vote for me I will save you.
send my your money and turn over your civil rights or terrorism will prevail.
who is the terrorist?

"One way to ensure that Saddam doesn't disarm is to put hundreds of thousands of troops in the area and broadcast pictures of the cruise missiles you are going to use against him. "
another way is to just leave him alone and cross our fingers and hope for the best.
"I mean how would he defend Iraq from the US-UK invasion? Bush and Blair have left him no room to disarm."
yeah, 6 months isn't nearly enough time... especially for the WOMD he totally forgot about.

I'm not canadian but thanks for the compliment.

the bottom line is this...
rules need authority. without it, they're fruitless.

May I express a different sound here__
I feel very happy, surprised so many young folks (here) are engaged in the discussion__
It's not what I have experienced before.
Pro- or against- I really respect the fact that most of you engage in (mostly) intelligent debates and not ignoring such an important (humanitarian) issue.
You guys rock!
(Same for NT for giving designers room to express their feelings!)

Oh, ye of little knowledge.

You, know every time people discuss this conflict anti war protesters always go off down a tangent of what the US has done wrong in the world. Yeah we all know what US did wrong in this world. Even with regards to Iraq itself. But its all beside the point. We have to deal with the thousands of litres of poison NOW , PRESENT TENSE. I agree that we should learn and not make the same mistakes in the future. But I don't care where he bought the source materials. His aircraft parts from France up until a few weeks ago for example. He has mixed the shit together and put into warheads I want him stopped NOW.
And while most of the WTC terrorists were Saudi, Regime change would indeed be necessary there if they were stockpiling what Iraq is in underground tunnels n'shit...

only morons spell moran wrong.

" you're canadien. you wimps need to keep the trap shut. "
ask the US hockey team how wimpy Canadians are.
ask Mike Tyson how wimpy Canadians(Lennox Lewis) are.
and if it was possible you could also ask the US army of 1812 how wimpy Canadians are.
