Hey guys,

I have an iBook G4 14" purchased in 2005, I want to upgrade the ram (currently 1GB) , battery and hard drive!

I've looked here http://eshop.macsales.com/ which seems reasonable, anyone have any experience in upgrading ibooks?

I was writing a document in Appleworks and when I saved it, it popped up an error and quit the program. The file is now gone from my documents folder!! Like WTF!!!? 1300 words just vanished!

I've read a way of recovering the file on apple websites but has anyone encountered this?
