So I'm looking at a new phone plan... T-Mobile UK offers 'Equivalent of £180' for £42.50... How can that even make sense? If you can buy something for £42.50, how can it at the same time be 'equivalent of £180'? Isnt that intrinsically false advertising? (or is it just stupid?)

And then there's the 'Unlimited*' Web n Walk data plan... with fine print: "To ensure a high quality of service for all our customers, a fair use policy of 3GB (of data sent and received in the UK) per month applies"... How can a 3GB limit legally be called 'Unlimited'?!

We're running a Flash banner on our site, but it is asking users on Windows IE who have Flash 7 to install Flash 8... (Our adserver does modify uploaded Flash banners to extract hard-coded URL's to allow click tracking, and compresses - but next to the compression tickbox it says "requires v6")...so why would a banner require Flash 8? Has it got something to do with how it was authored? (banners were sent to us by an agency).

I can connect to a Lacie Ethernet Disk mini server on our LAN using: \\192.168.xx.xx\Share

but is it the same address format when connecting to the server over the internet? It doesnt seem to work.. (forwarding of port 139 is setup in our router...Is this right?)

I'm writing the brief now, (and know in some detail what we need) but dont really know how best to structure the brief (its a big site, requiring advanced story layout capabilities, photo database system for 20000+ images, paid member access control, multiple authors etc). I'm setting up a small office workgroup for our online magazine (3-5 people, Windows + Mac)... trying to work out if it makes sense to run file server and stuff on OSX Server, how best to handle shared calendars/contacts and stuff, and what things to outsource (IMAP mail vs hosted Exchange Server), offline backups of our site and content... Can anyone recommend a company or person(in London) to help us sort out the best system?
