I'm setting up a small office workgroup for our online magazine (3-5 people, Windows + Mac)... trying to work out if it makes sense to run file server and stuff on OSX Server, how best to handle shared calendars/contacts and stuff, and what things to outsource (IMAP mail vs hosted Exchange Server), offline backups of our site and content... Can anyone recommend a company or person(in London) to help us sort out the best system?

although it all can be done in-house, pretty easily, if you don't have a dedicated network guy around...support can be an issue.

and, by network guy i mean someone who works as a network/system admin...not the janitor who happens to have set up his home router one night.

osx or linux could easily handle all your needs...fileserver, email and web servers and backups.

but, you can also just buy service from someone and save yourself the hassle of it all.

although, i wouldn't go ms exchange or ms servers, imo.

    why not Exchange Server?

Whats the alternative for calendars, contacts, Outlook integration... or do we stay with our outsourced IMAP mail plus a custom collaboration solution? (or stuff liek the Firefox calendar, iCal etc?)
