broken iframes? Nov 26, 08, 9:32 a.m.

i'm a bit embarrassed as a web designer since i haven't updated my own personal website in ages. i plan on doing it soon, but in the meantime the website that i've had online for 5 years suddenly stopped working both in firefox and explorer!

the homepage is supposed to contain an iframe with text content and when the user clicks on the buttons, the content should load in the same iframe in on the homepage.

suddenly, the iframes stopped showing up and the buttons load the content in new web pages rather than in the iframe.

can someone have a look at this and tell me what's up with the iframes?!

it looks fine in firefox, but in internet explorer, there is a 4 pixel high gap under the logo. here is a screenshot:

okay, first please note that I did not make this logo. my client came to me with it and i told them about 1,000,000 reasons why it’s a bad logo and they don’t seem to get it. i thought i could get some more reasons from you designer geniuses  so go ahead and give me your top 3 reasons why this logo sucks!

hello,

i designed some digital invitations for my friends wedding that she is going to email to her guestlist (the couple is very eco conscious).

the invitations will be saved as JPG files and each one will be personalized with the guests name on it. there will be about 100 total JPG files.

what is the best way to individually email each invitation so that the JPG shows up in the body of the recipients email and not as an attachment?

Can anyone tell me why there are 2 small one-pixel high gaps in between the navigation buttons and the title on this page in Explorer, yet it looks perfect in Firefox?

Illustrator Font Samples Apr 14, 08, 12:03 p.m.

I’m using CS3 and both Photoshop and InDesign have a feature where if you select the character dropdown menu, all of the fonts are displayed with the word "SAMPLE" next to them written in that specific font. This is a great way to see what each font looks like, especially since I have over 5,000 fonts to choose from. Why does Illustrator not have this feature? The only way I can preview fonts in Illustrator is to use the Type-->Font menu, but this menu takes a long time to use and is really clumsy to use. Does anyone know of a way to get the “SAMPLE” fonts to show up in Illustrator, or a better way than using the existing type menu??

i work off my desktop at my office and my laptop when i travel. i just got a new laptop and i'm not sure what the best way is to get all of my fonts on there. i use a PC with linotype FontExplorerX to manage my fonts. is there an easy way to do this?

does anyone know where i can buy this glue? it's the stuff that's on the back of a credit card when you get it in the mail that sticks it to the paper. you can peel it off without ripping the paper.
