chik...chikachikah! Jul 2, 08, 3:07 p.m.
So I'm getting stuff packed up and I hear a co-worker a ways away go "chikachikah!"
I stand up and say, "Did you just make a Ferris Bueller 'chicka' sound?"
"Hell yeah!" he replied, "chik...chikachikah!".
Then another co-worker on the other side of the room went "umm, bow bow!"
We all began our long weekend with hearty laughter. Yay!
Have fun, all.

Old People Porn Jun 18, 08, 11:03 a.m.
Shigeo Tokuda looks like any other 74-year-old man in Japan. Despite suffering a heart attack three years ago, the lifelong salaryman now feels healthier, and lives happily with his wife and a daughter in downtown Tokyo. He is, of course, more physically active than most retirees, but that's because he's kept his part-time job — as a porn star.

Oh those sweet dance moves and those legs. Legend from one of my favorite films "Singing In the Rain," amongst other.
Automotive 3D Modeling Jun 11, 08, 11:22 a.m.
Anyone know of any firms specializing in building and rigging 3D models of cars? The kind that would go in broadcast spots.
Albino Squirrel Heaven Jun 6, 08, 10:38 a.m.
Sam Sanfiliipo has created a taxidermied utopia to help keep the minds of the grieving occupied. His world of dioramas exists in the basement of an unassuming funeral home in Madison, WI. Enjoy this brief photo tour of some of the squirrel dioramas. The museum is also home to hundreds of other trophies including fish, raccoons, and at least a couple of badgers.

Things that scarded you Jun 6, 08, 9:51 a.m.
I noticed that everyone has strange things that scared them when they were little. Sometimes obvious, sometimes odd minutiae.
What scared you?
I was scared of:
-Album cover of "The Stranger" by Billy Joel
-This Sesame Street segment involving these guys in separate beds with long beards. One wanted the window open and the other wanted it closed. Freaked me out.
-There was a station ID for a movie channel that scared me. This is circa 1979 in Florida, so I can't remember which.
Gear rentals Jun 5, 08, 2:48 p.m.
Question -
For renting video gear like a camera package, lighting package, and sound, etc., is it standard practice that rates break down as follows:
Daily Rate: X
Weekly Rate: 3X
Monthly Rate: 10X

SOMEONE YOU CALL YOUR FRIEND, WANTS YOU DEAD.
I felt very sorry and bad for you, that your life is going to end like this if you don't comply, i was paid to eliminate you and I have to do it within 10 days. Someone you call your friend wants you dead by all means, and the person have spent a lot of money on this, the person also came to us and told us that he wants you dead and he provided us your names, photograph and other necessary information we needed about you.
If you are in doubt with this I will send you your name and where you are residing in my next mail. Meanwhile, I have sent my boys to track you down and they have carried out the necessary investigation needed for the operation, but I ordered them to stop for a while and not to strike
immediately because I just felt something good and sympathetic about you. I decided to contact you first and know why somebody will want you dead by all means. Right now my men are monitoring you, their eyes are on you, and even the place you think is safer for you to hide might not be. Now do you want to LIVE OR DIE? It is up to you. Get back to me now if you are ready to enter deal with me, I mean life trade, who knows, and I might just spear your life, $12,000 is all you need to spend.
You will first of all pay $4,000 then I will send the tape of the person that want you dead to you and when the tape gets to you, you will pay the remaining $8,000. If you are not ready for my help, then I will have no choice but to carry on the assignment after all I have already being paid before now. Warning: Do not think of contacting the police or even tell anyone because I will extend it to any member of your family since you are aware that somebody want you dead, and the person knows some members of your family as well. For your own good I will advise you not to go out once is 7pm until I make out time to see you and give you the tape of my discussion with the person who wantyou dead then you can use it to take any legal action.
Good luck as I await your reply to this e-mail contact: <mailto:redbulletpoint10@gmail.com>

Animated madness May 27, 08, 11:25 a.m.
Trying to find a decent collection of what I can only call Animated Madness, to show as examples for a presentation.
You know the ones - really bizarre (often Japanese) little pieces that seem to have no discernible meaning to them.

Cinema 4D problemo May 9, 08, 4:34 p.m.
Using Mac.
Ok, so I tried to load in this layout setting I had saved. Clicked on some "User Setting" that i figured was it, and then *Zonk!*, all the top level drop down menus are gone. Bye bye.
There's "File," but all you can see is Quit. Wtf? I've restarted the app, the computer, everything.
Little help please?
Do i need to do some massive setting restoration by diving into my Library folder??

Um...I dunno May 8, 08, 9:27 a.m.
So this is Josh Brolin as George W. Bush in Oliver Stone's Bush biopic.
Is it weirding you out as much as it is me? I love Brolin, but um, I'm not sure.
I've always wanted to like Oliver Stone (I love "JFK"), but I think he's a bit of an asshat, frankly.

RIP Eddy Arnold May 8, 08, 7:29 a.m.
And thus passes country western legend Eddy Arnold at age 89. You may remember his classic tune "Cattle Call" from the beginning of (a deep favorite) the film "Mt Own Private Idaho." (at the 3:50 mark)
