  Restrictions on the foods suitable for Jews are derived from rules in the books of Leviticus and Deuteronomy.   ^^ It's a fair note. Far too much Jewish food is boiled, eastern european fare, so it can get really bland.

  But anyone who equates kosher with bland hasn't dined at enough kosher restaurants, delis or seders.
