Does anyone know if there is a way to get the internet on a flat panel TV? Wireless preferred...

Specifically, I want to be able to watch Lynda.com tutorials on the big screen (they're QT movies embedded in a page). I usually have the time to study at night, after work. The last place I want to be is at the desk. So I figure I could lay down in bed and watch some tutes on the TV.

I've searched and found very few things. Wondering if anyone has done this or knows of things that do this- well.

I remember reading the winners and stories and thinking to myself, 'Hey, where's Big Spaceship in all of this HBO Voyeur stuff'. They deserve much more credit imo and I'm sort of baffled as to Lubars//BBDO's response. But, now there's an article on AdAge, did someone open a canne of worms?

Passing Flash Variables Apr 4, 08, 1:16 p.m.

Is there a way to pass variables to and from SWF files on different HTML pages other than using the query string and setting it directly inside of the html flashvars param? I've only known about the query string and FlashVars methods. Maybe some other scripting language? Something thats not too overly-complicated, another method that's just as easy. I just don't like having the url address having variables on the end of it, especially b/c of bookmarking. Any help would be appreciated.

Eh, is it just me or is QBN changing as I type this. New homepage section at the bottom. There's also a "Follow" link at the top of the PV, if you click it then says "Stay", not sure what thats about. What happened to the PBC etc. Anyone else seeing this or is my computer fudged up?

FLASH Field Focus help! Nov 25, 03, 9:32 a.m.

Hi NT,
I have a quick question regarding form filed focus in Macromedia Flash. I currently have a script that tells my flash app to make the first field active but it doesn't work unless the flash player is clicked....this is when the html file that holds the swf is opened. Is there any 3rd party tool, that will make the flash player the active program so that I can make the field have its blinker on when the html page is opened? Thanks.

Does anyone know how Psyop (www.psyop.tv) animates the people (vector illustrations) in there portfolio pieces? Is it a 3D plugin, frame by frame in illustrator, new software? Wow,

To all NT freelancers:
If you are going to charge a rate for the entire day, does that mean an 8-hour shift ? What if they don't start work until late in the afternoon, does thsi mean you strat an eight hout dhift at like 4pm and don't stop until midnight? Or.....do you start at 9am and let the client know that his clock is running and that your charging him, otherwise why not just do an hourly rate? What are the pro's and cons of charging for the entire day? Let me know your thoughts.
