Dear friends,

I am putting together some sports articles together. Not sure where they will be published yet, possibly magazines or online. A copywriter already has the material finalized and I will be putting together the layout.

What are the rules as far as using photos or video footage? Anyone has any experience with this? Photos of players or events that you find online.

Someone a while ago offered everyone to create logo title sequences in after effects of final cut.
Then recently within a few months ago they posted a 2nd follow up.

I tried filtering but came up empty. There was some comments there about the creation process and I wanted to refer back to it.

Hi all,

I've been asked to convert some images to 100dpi GIF, but every time I save for web, the gifs turn out to 72dpi. I guess that's the default. I also noticed that you are no longer able to save gifs from the "save as" menu.

So, I cannot use png's, jpegs, etc. The specs call for Gifs, for whatever reason they decided on.

Greetings Earthlings,

Why is it that when I import an .ai or .eps vector file into AfterEffects, it looks lo-res?

I tried making file size larger (which is stupid I know taking into account it is vector), and I tried all sorts of different saving formats.

The photoshop files on the other hand, look fine, after exporting the .mov in the same project.

Any ideas?

Any good tutorials (recent) for creating simple soundclips loops in GarageBand to be used on AfterEffects or Flash?

I've been having a hard time in setting up the "looping" in AfterEffects, not sure if you set that up in GarageBand itself, or in AfterEffects.
