PS Smart objects > smart files Sep 21, 07, 5:58 a.m.
Not knowing much about the in-depth working of smart Objects in P-shop.
What were trying to achieve is have a series files that comprise of certain modules of a site(e.g. Navigation module, promo modules, Main image module, etc)
These modules then form part of a series of other pages we've mocked up for a site.
Ideally, what we'd like to happen is that if there is an amend on the navigation module, this will update all the other PSD's that we've imported this module in.
Possible? Easy? RTFM? STFU?
Flash Accessibility Sep 11, 07, 6:09 a.m.
Besides "don't" or it doesn't work. Can anyone point me towards any resources on techniques that provide text equivalents for flash movies.
As the flash movie is a pretty simple, in that it displays a number of buttons with. Our initial idea was to provide a summary of the content provided within the flash movie.
Using the 'accessibiloity' boxes in flash (for the entire movie) seems to make no difference at all. as JAWS doesn't seem to see them at all

Malcolm in the middle Apr 11, 07, 4:24 a.m.
I am looking for the name of the episode where Francis becomes an accidental Mouse/Killer up in Alaska.
He becomes a man to be reckoned with in the mining community as a bona-fide rat killer when he accidentally kills a few of the rodents.
He comes unstuck at the end, when he ventures under the floorboards to tackle the giant rat that lives underneath and gets swamped.
Any doea what this episode is called? I know it was not the main storyline so I am having trouble finding it.

Typeface suggestion Feb 7, 07, 12:37 a.m.
We're doing some online brand work as part of a site re-design.
The logotype of the company is pretty goemetic, and hand done, remeniscent of Eurostyle, though not as curved.
I quickly looked at Avantgarde and that sort of worked, a bit too narrow in parts.
However, what we really want to do is suggest something far more contemporary.
but before I start looking about, any suggestions from the good folk out here?
Lorem Ipsum Jan 25, 07, 6:44 a.m.
I find the word legnth in typical 'Lorem Ipsum' too long. Its been bugging me for a while.
Does anyone use any other 'greek' text for mock-ups other than lorem...and do they have an online resource for generation of sentences and paragraphs?
Cheers
