Am being pressed at work to do more, better, faster...
How are you using AI creatively and more importantly from a productivity POV
Thanks

I've been using it to make daft podcasts on QBN at the deficit of the pile of work I should be doing.
I will watch the thread with interest...

I'm using Firefly for photos, Gemini and Chatgpt for texts or code fixes, but, not as much as some of my colleagues claim to use.
Easy and simplistic parallels can be drawn, but I'll keep them to myself ;)
- A tool, not more. It can speed up my processes, but I'm still reluctant to adopt it 100%. I'm old and stupid, so what?OBBTKN

ChatGPT & Gemini:
flushing out new ideas, research, ideation, concepts, proposals, copy writing, pitch decks, PPT slides, etc...Midjourney, Seedance, Sora, Flux, Krea:
image creation, experiments, editing, upscaling, etc...VEO 3, Runway, HaiLuo:
video, shorts, motion graphics, etc...Suno, Udio, Eleven Labs:
music, audio, sound effects, voice over, etc...- You have accounts for all of those? That must be some expense.CyBrainX
- About $120- month all inutopian
- I'm also now Vibe Coding with Gemini, building OS appsutopian
- Hailuos unlimited plan was great, you can run so many generations, more choices, better outcomesYakuZoku
- But Google recently doubled it's VEO3 credits for Ultra plan users, it pretty much feels like unlimitedYakuZoku

Brainstorming/ideation, research prep and synthesis, writing PRDs/memos, copywriting, coding lightweight PoCs, using Figma MCP to create near production ready prototypes.

Chat GPT is a pretty good brainstorming partner if you are alone. It doesn't give you amazing ideas, but buckets/territories for you to riff off of and find real human insights from.
Midjourney or any other image tool is now indispensable for creating storyboards if you are doing video work.
Last week I used midjourney to create illustrations for a storybook-themed pitch deck.
It's pretty wild, for better or worse

What actual work are we talking about?
- just give me an overall regarding your tasks and I can suggest entry points where AI can speed up the process or help you out.********

Ouroboros... In general, there are just a lot of new tools that create a lot of new mistakes to fix, followed by even more new tools every day to correct those mistakes.
For concepting it's like rocket fuel... That being said it gets frustrating when the client wants to steer the rough prelim concepts like they do for more fleshed out ideas. We find that we have to eventually rebuild everything in a more traditional manner to have the level of control for client feedback so the time savings is null because the work is still there it’s just fallen into an internal hidden factory so to speak.
We had one client that was all about the new Ai workflow and had even selected a completely generated character as part of their vis id... then a note came in near project close along the lines of the “character needs to be consistent across the entire website”. Eventually the hero output had to be rebuilt in 3D and then modeled for every page change across the site.
I dunno maybe it will all get better/smoother maybe model consistency will improve. Sadly I think the taste bar will just drop and “ehh it’s good enough” will become more pervasive.

I tried multi-language development from 1st draft till final.
it worked, didnt take up much time to fill in content in 4 languages with ai. and it saved the get the translation in time and punch them in.

It's a modifier IMO.
In photoshop, harmonize does just that; harmonizes 2 images:
https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/photo…
In Illustrator, turntable allows you to take a (vector) image / illustration and rotate it:
https://community.adobe.com/t5/i…
As a tool to generate something from nothing (a prompt) I fear the loss of human touch; even a base (like above) of something made with a human hand / touch.
Reistence is futile, eh?
- These 2 tools specifically will save me (designer) and my wife (artist/illustrator) hours of work weekly.ideaist
- are they still only available in "beta" photoshop? that's another stupid issue... Adobe showcases these tools in the "beta" pshop buildjonny_quest_lives
- but i am stuck in 25.12.1 because IT won't allow us to use "beta" so clients and AD's get to see these cool instagram influencer reels of featuresjonny_quest_lives
- then when we want to test them we are assed out.jonny_quest_lives
- then to use firefly u have to go to the web portal because we are allowed to use firefly but then you see the "beta" reels showing nano banana in pshopjonny_quest_lives
- only again to find you have to use "beta" pshop... it's like every buggy test implementaion gets pushed to the beta build and a reel madejonny_quest_lives
- then all the AD's attempt to use it only to find IT won't allow them beta access.jonny_quest_lives
- maybe when more of our AD's get upgraded from their Intel Macs these newer features will become more common but right now we are stuck at 25.12.4jonny_quest_lives
- gemini pro is pretty sweet for quick memes thoughjonny_quest_lives
- big fan of inter office trolling coworkers with it's image generationsjonny_quest_lives
- Yeah, I'm in between "Fuck Adobe" AND "this shit is going to save me time AND give a better result.".
: )
