- Hey Look, it's the Epilog Laser Test Engrave Pattern from 2007...
/sNairn - Yes!!! I immediately started googling Andor Mayan Artifact and got nothing. Weird.monospaced
- Anyway, this would be evidence that people in the Star Wars universe travel between galaxies and that we share the universe with them. So awesome.monospaced
- When I saw it, I also looked for something online, but it wasn only last night I found https://www.reddit.c…PhanLo

- their pistols are based on lugers and berettas, everybody knows it, move ongrafician
- yea I dig that low budget 70s art department stuff they have in SWinteliboy
- https://twitter.com/…Bluejam
- It certainly looks lazy, and while they might be based on earth weapons, this looks terrible.monospaced

I can't take anything from Star Wars seriously, tried to watch the first episode -- sorry
- and what now, you want a discount?sted

- the first 3 episodes are not that great imo... the show is kinda broken up into 3 ep 'chapters'inteliboy
- It gets better. Best serious Star Wars to date, actually.monospaced

This is the Andor I wanted to see

Hooo weeee just finished it last night. LOVE this show!
It's a snooze fest if you prefer Mando, but I personally love the realism - no powers, no magic Iron Man suit, no 1 man running away from 1000 bullets or riding rankors... just people being smart and the birth of the resistance.
Even my girlfriend loved it
- I respect them for trying something new. But I was half asleep a good 55% of this show.jagara
- Just not sure this universe and its tone lend themselves to realism.
I enjoyed Mando but fav scene of all these was the blue bounty hunter in Book of Boba.spl33nidoru - Glad you loved it though!spl33nidoru
- amazing, thoughtful series. Looked absoluetly stuning. Great cast some proper actors - unlike boba fett. As you say was great to have no jedi bitswoowahesque
- even liked the miners strike re-enactment with coilery band in the last episodewoowahesque
- And the crappy tenerife style holiday resort for aliens to get drunk and shag at.woowahesque
- I think this was magnificent. What a finale! One of my big complaints about SW, was that the Empire (and 1st Order) were always inept, cartoonish, andContinuity
- ... moustache-twirly. In Andor, they're profoundly menacing. Evil, horrific, and very much Nazi-like.Continuity
- BTW, excellent payoff in the post-credits stinger for the prison episodes.Continuity
- Why did Luthen want to kill Cassian all of a sudden?CyBrainX
- There's a hidden scene at 53:32 after the credits.CyBrainX
- The season finale had such an uneventful ending I didn't even know it was the last episode of the season.CyBrainX
- I enjoyed it too. Thought the Mandalorian sucked and couldn't get past a few episodes of Boba Fet.formed
- @CyBrainx If Cassian was able to identify Luthen who the ISB were looking forBluejam
- I liked the Mandalorian a bit but gave up quickly on Boba Fett. In general Star Wars is just superior with Jedi and without bounty hunters.CyBrainX
- I liked Andor a lot but it's almost completely detached from the rest of the Star Wars franchise.CyBrainX

Total snooze-fest apart from the prison segment, and possibly that early mission on that planet.
The rest is pointless wankery imho.
Felt like 5 films intertwined à la pulp fiction, but only 2 of those are good, and 1 is definitely terrible. No more SW for me, I enjoyed the Mandalorian but can't sit through more of these endlessly recurring situations with shoehorned gravitas feeding off our nostalgia.

- Yup. Finished it. I agree.jagara

Good god, this week's episode is glorious.
And that Andy Serkis ... *chef's kiss*
- jagara0
It feels like a detective drama that could be taking place in 1970's Helsinki. Does it pick up? Zzzzz
- Continuity6
OK, Andy Serkis is delightful in this.
Fuck, I love this show.
- Yep, he's very good in thisfadein11
- It's quite stressfull to watch those prison scenes, which shows it's good. I think.
Just want them to overrun it now.PhanLo - yep, not a lot happens in those scenes but they got it bang on, reminds me of terrible factory jobs I had in my youth. Poor fuckers.fadein11
- The Empire doctor explaining the origin of the torture he's about to use on Bix's character and the prison scenes are wonderfully fucked up.Akagiyama

Episode 6 is incredible.
- What an awesome episode! And we're only 1/2 through the season.Akagiyama

- Very nice!OBBTKN
- Yup, loved it.Continuity
- i watched the first 3, i do not get it, what is the point, it's boring.
I hope it will get better.ApeRobot - It actually starts around ep. 4grafician
- yeah the acting is actually awful for the first 2.5 episodes too.woowahesque
- Enjoying it. Storytelling is great.misterhow
- Incredibly average you mean?ArchitectofFate
- Wow. I assumed episode 6 was the season finale.CyBrainX
- It was Ok. Really dragging this series out. Not bad, just drawn out...hydro74

While I am enjoying the pace, drama and its unique feel, it feels like the styling isn’t Star Wars anymore, or enough. It feels more like some steampunk world with hits of Bladerunner instead. I mean, one guy had on world war 1 plane headgear basically and I’m pretty sure I saw a cash register with a tube on it. One woman referenced “cops” which was weird too.
- Needs more Vespa Punks? Kidding. Disney has killed Star Wars. They neutered Boba Fett.ShenanigansTV
- I don’t think it’s bad. And now a month after I wrote this comment I feel like Disney has done a pretty good thing. I’m sold.monospaced
- Continuity3
This show just keeps going from strength to strength, IMO.
Love the pacing, the cinematography is excellent, and the fact that it doesn't feel 100% SW is actually a big point in its favour. No jedi, no force, no lightsabers, no stormtroopers (so far, anyway), yet there's just enough of the SW world with the Empire present that you know where you are.
Also, Diego Luna really is excellent.
- It needs some space and some force, and maybe some wars, in my opinion.monospaced
- I expect that will happen next episode.Continuity
- Well, space and war, in any case.Continuity
- so far, it's uninteresting.
Nothing make me want to watch the next episodes.ApeRobot - I find it more interesting than the original Star Warsmonospaced

Just watched the first three.
Not bad. Not bad at all.
What's good about it?
• It's not Obi-Wan. Or the prequels
• No-one's 'chasing' little girls in gardens like cartoon characters
• Ewan McGregor — and his annoying voice — are nowhere to be found.I actually appreciate that, so far, it feels actually very disconnected from the rest of SW, apart from a few requisite Empire rerferences.
But, uh ... I really hope the Big Bad of this show, in fact, *isn't* what's basically a mall rent-a-cop out for revenge.
- prophetone3
Just watched first three. One and two set the tone and story so ramps up... but that last five mins of ep three is great, the cinematography and score is tops.
- CyBrainX0
I watched the 7 minute intro story, which I thought was a strange format but somewhat entertaining. Then, I watched the first episode which bored me to tears. I'll give the other episodes a chance but if there's no improvement I'll fire this series quicker than I fired Boba Fett.
- cannonball19780
Its... okay. The stakes are too drawn out, making it feel a bit slack.
- hans_glib0
much better than i feared, especially after suffering thru 1 ep of obiwan
- This can't touch Obiwan.CyBrainX
- flol, obiwan was utter shit.hans_glib
- A sequel to Revenge of the Sith with Jedi, Obi Wan and as good a fight scene as they ever had? What was the problem?CyBrainX
- that fucking laser gate was a problem
... one of manyBluejam - not to mention phone-it-in "acting", cardboard sets and a general sense that no-one really gave a shithans_glib
- thumb_screws3
It definitely has a feel of its own but still SW.
The predominantly British accents on the cast, the music, just the way it's shot. Production on this seem so much better than Kenobi.
- The production was very impressive. It was about the only thing I enjoyed in episode 1.CyBrainX
- It’s much slower paced but it starts to ramp up in 3thumb_screws

The only thing I didn't like about Rogue One was there wasn't enough Jedi. Star Wars without them just can't be as good.
- They had corporations tho'grafician
- fuck you rogue one was infinitely better than any of the sw se/prequelshans_glib
- There's no point to Star Wars without JediMondoMorphic
