I’ve met quite a few Russians here in Phuket (island in southern Thailand). Some have been living here for most of 2022, hiding from Putin’s mobilization orders...young guys in their 20s or 30s and their girlfriends, always with the with lip injections lol.
Not a single one however was willing to talk about the war except in the most vague way possible. I assume these are the “liberal Russians” you hear about, but Putin has successfully terrified them into total silence, even when they are on the other side of the world. Nearly a year later the Russian resistance to the war is still pretty pathetic.
- Mate, you're in Thailand? Eh? Did I miss something?Continuity

- swollen lips are going to look soOOoo.. bad when those women are aged 50+ and their overstretched lips deflate.shapesalad
- Yeah it's weird, makes you think of low class American culture. Having said that many Russian women are quite beautiful, just with unnatural looking giantyuekit

Looks like Russia is trying to drag Belarus into the war, maybe attempting to attack from the north west in hopes to cut off weapons supply to Ukraine via Poland. Doubt it'll be successful.
- well Belarus should be open season for NATO then. Full force invasion of that idiot puppet's "country"_niko
- Belarusian people just wait for the chance to get their hands on guns let's see how that turns outzaq

Russian soldiers sent next door to kill Ukrainians are increasingly getting killed by their own military instead

"The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO)[3] is an intergovernmental military alliance in Eurasia consisting of six post-Soviet states: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan. The Collective Security Treaty has its origins in the Soviet Armed Forces, which was replaced in 1992 by the United Armed Forces of the Commonwealth of Independent States, and was then itself replaced by the successor armed forces of the respective independent states.
Similar to Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty and the Inter-American Treaty of Reciprocal Assistance, Article 4 of the Collective Security Treaty (CST) establishes that an aggression against one signatory would be perceived as an aggression against all. The CSTO charter reaffirmed the desire of all participating states to abstain from the use or threat of force. Signatories are prohibited from joining other military alliances.[4]"

- 1. its "Geppetto", but a hilarious image.
2. I really find it weird that people from the right think people from the left do the hero-worship shit.garbage - I consider Biden to be center-right, neolib at best. Not everyone is afraid to criticize the party that can realistically represent their values.garbage
- A useful microcosm would be that people buy $50 MAGA hats made in China, but I'm not seeing people buying Biden Brand Aviators.garbage
- he‘s a big guy, he sells state of the art weapons on credit to people who can‘t afford it.uan
- he could sell weapons all over europe for decades if ukraine doesn´t win... cause u have to be hyper naive if u think putin stops there if he wins...neverscared

"An eight-month visual investigation by The New York Times concluded that the perpetrators of the massacre along Yablunska Street were Russian paratroopers from the 234th Air Assault Regiment led by Lt. Col. Artyom Gorodilov."
So they've basically put to rest the controversy over the Bucha killings. They identified the exact group of soldiers who committed the atrocities and yes it was Russia.

re: Tucky Tuck getting money from Russia.
Absolutely. They've been running snippets of his show on Russian state media since the beginning of the war. The average Russian thinks that Tucky represents the average viewpoint of Americans.
Which is pretty fucked, because Tucky managed to dodge some serious legal issues when his lawyers argued and successfully defended him on the basis that "no reasonable person" would take him seriously.
I'll repeat that: He got off the hook for his propaganda because they argued that nobody should take any of his bullshit seriously if they had a functioning brain.
He's also a spoiled brat beyond belief, and is married into the Swanson frozen food empire.
You'd think that Tucker Swanson McNear Carlson was the most punchable name in the family. About that..
He's got a brother that they really try to hide from public view because he's somehow more of an embarrassment and does his own little crimes.. and his name is Buckley Swanson Peck Carlson.
Punches.
- I'm genuinely curious as to who here downvotes indisputable facts regarding how Carlson is being used for Putin's war machine.garbage
