This is interesting and shows what a completely amoral person Steve Bannon is. Apparently he became friends with Epstein during Trump's first presidency and wanted to help him rehabilitate his image.

Epstein wanted to go on 60 Minutes and reintroduce himself to the public. Bannon helped him practice for the interview, playing the part of the 60 Minutes journalist.
But then Epstein was suddenly arrested and died in prison. Bannon realized that being friends with him would look really bad...so made up a cover story that he was making a documentary about Epstein being an evil sex trafficker. He released the trailer below but never actually released the supposed documentary. And you can see pretty clearly that he took clips from the mock interview and worked them into the rest of the footage.
