the weird thing is like, 2015-2019 were all quite shit too. like, the general social exhaustion was finally broken by covid.
while it is always nice to have ways to move beyond things - and demarcations of time are always helpful for the psyche - i'm getting concerned that people are focusing energy en masse on trying to forget 2020 instead of prepare to fight like hell in 2021... 'cause it sure as fuck isn't gonna get any better on its own, and there's a lot of danger in saying "let's just go back to 2015."
or i'm just annoyed they're already playing christmas music on the radio.
- Despite Covid, I never thought 2020 was horrible. But then again I still have my job and nobody I know got affected by the virus.NBQ00
- the decline started in 2008-9. 2010s is the continuation. 2020 and covid is just natural... i personally think it will get better in the next few years.renderedred
- The decline started in the 1920’s. Or maybe a few billion years ago after the earth was formed?NBQ00
