- Cybertrucks are going to fuck shit up in the hood, seriously if this shit is cheap, tinted, bulletproof & faster than the fastest sports car. Cops won't like.robotron3k
- I'm having a hard time conceiving how one would stop someone if that person decided they did not want to stop.robotron3k
- Bounces off police radar because it has a stealth designgrafician
- cops will get the unlisted 4 motor special forces version.uan
- That is actually the real story of Bonny and Clyde. They had the fastest cars, best weapons, they were unstoppable.robotron3k
- unstoppable? both died (got killed) in their early 20ies.uan
- They will have Tesla remotely shut it down...estetic

- He says some good stuffNBQ00
- How do these amateur “news podcast” types have homes with basements that big for their studios? :Dmg33

- Also, that accent!!nb

- Millions of dollars? Nah.monospaced
- Totally mono. Check it out. Youtuber with over 1 milions sub can decently live. Unbox Therapy has 16M sub.Bennn

- Casey Neistat, Peter McKinnon, they're all living life of milionaires.Bennn
- here: https://www.google.c… Estimated networth of 20Milions $$$$Bennn
- Yes they make at least a couple million with unbox therapy channel. Not just the adsense revenue but other additional adverts and sponsoringsNBQ00
- Pewdiepie has an estimated $70-100 million networth. Just crazy.NBQ00
- yep, Youtuber with over 400K subs can start living only from this. Over 5-6-700K subs, they have more than decent money flowing in.Bennn

I ordered one as a present to my two years older self.
- ideaist-3
- By "legit", I mean it's a fair compromise with tasteful edits.
: )ideaist - Given the way it's built though, that cut off on the trailer section would significantly weaken the superstructure.Nairn
- It’s an industrial designers idea of what it should’ve been. But I disagree. This still would’ve been too standard looking.NBQ00
- Such overkill for something that will sit in traffic in California. It's made for loading and hauling only, what pale, soft-fingered geek needs this??robotron3k
- the normie versioninteliboy
- As if any other car isn't overkill when sitting in traffic. You might as well walk or take a bike.NBQ00
- By "legit", I mean it's a fair compromise with tasteful edits.

Elon Musk's net worth plunges $768m in a day after cybertruck fiasco
- Fiasco because of the glass or because of the design? Hardly fiasco. Stocks usually dip on releases after a product launch. „Buy on rumor, sell on news“NBQ00
- do they dip down usually in that magnitude?neverscared
- he still got 23B. its nothinBrokenHD

- The one on the right looks like some marketing bod's idea of compensatory masculine aspiration - it's like a male depilator.Nairn
- FUCK'S SAKE. I meant
"The one on the left". Fucking idiotNairn - Like, "I really want to shave my arms, but I don't want anyone to think I'm gay - this product is clearly aimed at menly men like what I think I am, right?"Nairn
- Whereas the one on the right is just fucking wax strips and Deal With It.Nairn
- You just described the #1 reason people by pickup trucks!zarkonite
- I know.
I know.Nairn - Well, I now prefer the version on the right.NBQ00
- "fucking wax strips and Deal With It."
LOLmg33 - Haha. Apparently the version released only starts if your waxed balls are clearly touching the drivers seatIanbolton
- Apparently no version is yet confirmed for any future release.monospaced
- "Just roll out a lowpoly tin mobile on stage, smash a few windows and call it a success." - Pedo Man Muskutopian
- lowres version and hires versionBennn

I'm coming around to the exterior design. The high peak above the driver is a bit form over function, as the rear passengers get way less headroom, but I'm looking forward to seeing these things on the road.
They are such a big departure from the status quo. It's nice that someone is actually pushing the envelope.
I really wonder how that stainless is gonna perform when ot encounters winter road salt. Stainless aint stainless in saltwater.
- Agreed. Either way it's clearly a success. Look at how many posts this thread has in just a few days.inteliboy
- No crumple zone means people are the crumple zone.robotron3k
- I wonder how they wreck against each other?robotron3k
- Most trucks lack crumple zones. That's typical of body on frame construction.monNom
- NBQ000
- It's the best Kickstarter ever for Musk, 5 million people give $100 to put a truck on hold in 2 years. Musk is a money man.robotron3k
- $100 bucks deposit is quite low. On the other cars it's much higher. On the Tesla Roadster even full price of 250K and won't be out for probably another yearNBQ00
- So if this truck does not have a crumple zone God help the people on the other end of the impact, especially if the accelerator gets stuck.robotron3k
- True. I even imagine safety / crumple zone issues could end up having this whole design shelved... or at least the sheet metal material aspect of it.inteliboy
