Some folk were trying pixel art renders, this guy has a tutorial / add-on that seems to get good results in Blender

More basic bits, I have to paint a pillar in an old office building for a dance performance, so wanted to see what it look like in the space.
Projection mapped the geometry and added the drawing onto the pillar. Sorry for the spew inducing camera moves, still getting to grips with Blender
