The internet pedants (read youtube fanboy channels) are discussing the size of Ashoka her 'Lekkus'. THEY ARE TOO SHORT! OOHHH!
I really despise those 'Simpsons comic book guys' with their channels. Talentless cunts, never happy. Or it's too far away from the source material OR its fan service. Get a life.

- Comics book guy 100%tank02
- Jesus. This sounds like gatekeeping Trek fanbois.Continuity
- They take themselves to serious. I follow a star trek podcast (greatest gen) they are the opposite and 2 cameramen, so are much more humble en self-deprecatingtank02
- They made them shorter ‘cause they were too heavyscarabin

oh man just starting season 2. it's so damn good and star warsy. TV has come so far.
- Just started? Oh, you're in for a streat, it just goes from strength to strength as the season goes on.Continuity

Unpopular opinion but I didn’t not like Ashoka character. Looks way too cartoony and doesn’t fit in the live-action world so well. I guess they put her in for the Clone Wars cartoon fans.
- *did notNBQ00
- I don't know if you've noticed, but every single alien in the SW universe looks like it's made of rubber and foam.Continuity
- Not all. And it’s not that necessarily but the design and coloring. She really looks cartoony.NBQ00
- They all look cartoony. Greedo, Boba, Chewie, R2D2, Jabbatank02
- But not the way she looks. The painted on shapes on her face and the head piece on her forehead looks cheap and overly cartoony.NBQ00
- She never appeared in the SW universe except the cartoon series Clone Wars. Also that episode wasn’t that great compared to previous 4NBQ00
- I do actually know what you are saying, but I think it's because they got her spot on. In the dialogue scenes she doesn't at all but yes, from a distance shefadein11
- does but I think it's only because we are programmed to see her as an animated character. I thought they did it way better than I expected.fadein11
- i concur with fade. But than again, my fav parts of SW is clones, rebels and rogue one. And mando ofc.tank02
- But one of her species, Skaak Ti, was in the prequesls. That species is not even new to live action.
https://static.wikia…ETM - true, but looked better in Mando.fadein11
- truly Unpopular opinion. you're the only one I know.pango

theres 3-4 more episodes and this series was one of the best pieces of the Star Wars Universe so far...
- I agree, last 2-3 have been up there with anything in the entire history of SWfadein11
- I was so-so on season 1 but they've improved in every way in season 2. Really solid stuff.MondoMorphic
- thumb_screws-1
So good. Great casting and that name drop.
- Also loth cats.thumb_screws
- ...and who to cast as live action thrawnthumb_screws
- More star wars then the original star wars!inv
- ^SO MUCH THIS!grafician
- That Thrawn trilogy was really great. Enjoyed each and every bookmisterhow
- ^^ Get Clive Owen as Thrawnface_melter
- Was thinking Hugo weaving as thrawn. Ben wishaw could work or cumbersnatch.thumb_screws
- use the voice actor from the series, a good actor,tank02
- Only blue actors should play blue characters.i_monk
- I didn’t realise it was Lars Mikkelsen doing thrawns voice in rebels. That could totally work in live actionthumb_screws

Awwwww yes!!!

Holy shit, that was great!

Michael Biehn with his shotgun, that he likes to keep handy for close encounters!

- Wow, perfect episode! Hi Grogu!grafician
- happy its not a clonetank02
- ^yes! finally some back story for the kid...or the "old man" as he must be 100 alreadygrafician
- STFU cunts, I haven't watch it yet.Continuity
- casting Rosario Dawson as Ashoka was pure genius, she's perfect in that role!grafician
- stfu at least for an other 8 hours, i can't watch this while workingsted
- Very pleased. Rosario is great. That smirk!misterhow
- This was the best episode and I'm not just saying that because of Rosario. I just don't think they should even bother making Star Wars without the Jedi.CyBrainX

I wasn’t able to find the jeans guy.
But the storm troopers jumping on their “bikes” riding down that mountain and chasing them scene was kick ass. That is movie like quality right there. Can’t even recall getting wowed like that in the last SW film.
- Oh wait, I found the jeans guy.NBQ00
- There was an unusually high level of production/action in this one!evilpeacock
- That scene was NOT in the released episode, and yes, the "things" in that lab are 99% Snoke clones, as the kid is a clone of Yodagrafician
- Not in the released episode? What do you mean?NBQ00
- they needed the kid's blood to transplant to Snoke clones the "Force" as it "speaks" thru midi-chlorians in the bloodgrafician
- that's why they do blood test for young jedi to see how many midi-chlorians are there in their blood = how powerful they are with the Forcegrafician
- as there aren't many jedi left, they needed the blood of the kid/Yoda clone - a powerful jedi - to give Snoke the same Force level powergrafician
- then "transplant" the real Snoke "essense" in any clone and still keep the power of the Force, as did the Emperor tried to do with Reygrafician
- oh fuck, I was mistaken, this was not a scene in a corridor, it was in the lab! as they enter the lab and YES the guy is there LOLgrafician
- Dude what the fuck. Nobody cares about midicholrophils. I was asking about the scene that you said was not in the released episode.NBQ00
- well I was mistaken, and we all found the jeans guy and it can never be unseengrafician
- What's a Snoke?i_monk
- i enjoy the voice and the tone from the mandal.api
- Snoke was a clone of Darth Sidious that went wrong btw... sorry to butt in.fadein11
- wrong. They are dark troopers, and the kid is not a clone of yoda, Ashoka finds out his name. There was a spoiler this week.tank02
- who you saying wrong to? if me, you are wrong. Snoke was a failed clone of the emperor. The Rise of Skywalker explained that (badly).fadein11
- dark troopers are force enhanced clone troopers.fadein11

One of the things I love about this show is it’s structure of the episodes. This might be an age thing because it makes me a bit nostalgic for the TV of the 80s and 90s; but I really like the mission of the week with the over all arc creeping along in the background set-up.. It’s like space A-Team or Space Knightrider.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a good 8 hour story, well told and executed; but the bite-size stories that let us explore the world/galaxy he’s operates in, is brilliant.
- Agreed.brandonp
- True, it also makes the series a bit repetitive to binge watch (what I sort of did). A weekly dose and the wait leading up to it must be much more enjoyable.spl33nidoru
- Love it either wayspl33nidoru
- Yeah, I can see how it could be like that. I'm going through it weekly, so maybe that's part of the reason it's giving me the nostalgia glow for old TV.Wolfboy
- Totally.spl33nidoru

I wanna know what was growing in those tanks! And next episode is directed by Dave Filoni. I'm pretty sure we're seeing Ahsoka Tano next friday!
- Continuity2
Another absolutely solid episode.
Man, this show can do no wrong.
- SO THAT'S HOW HE EATS AND DRINKS WITHOUT TAKING HIS HELMET OFgrafician
- grafician2
idk, I should note this, as watching this series, it's somehow closer to the Star Wars "mood" than any major feature released, after Rogue One ofc
- Apart from baby yoghurt there isn't some new George Lucas dancing ferrits every 2 minutes. i suppose one good series is a plus.PhanLo
- yes for sure, wainting on that Obi Wan series tho' toografician
- Favreau is ridiculous btw, the imagination on that man, he must be a real Jedi no doubtgrafician
- not to mention the "ending credits" with those amazing concept art pieces!grafician
- idk, like I said, this series feels very "crafted" somehow, it's all in the detailsgrafician
- there isn't one episode that let me down, the continuity and consistency is off the charts on this onegrafician
- can't wait to meet Ahsoka Tano next week!grafician
- I've been watching it with my 11yo son and his reactions indicate that The Mandalorian is def. his equivalent of me with the original trilogy.evilpeacock
- Also, my 11yo twins both liked Rogue One far more than the last two trilogies.evilpeacock
- ^the kids are alright then mate!grafician
- It feels a lot more like the role playing game, which i likescarabin
- @evilpeacock - I agree (and on Rogue One, by far the best recent SW movie).fadein11
