More pro-brexit lies and manipulation
"The pro-Brexit campaign group, Leave.EU, faked a viral video and appear to have staged photos of “migrants”, shortly before the EU referendum"
- unless it's a top headline in the mail/express/sun for the next week, everyday... forget it, leave voters won't hear about it or care.shapesalad

- And this is why democracy via partisan politics is totally fucking useless. 'Brexit Party' will win purely because of an arrow and a character, shit as he is.Nairn

This is a really good thread on the Brexit party and Faragism. Further to that Lewis Goodall link I posted a few days ago (he's been following Farage around for weeks for Sky News).
https://twitter.com/lewis_goodal…
Crazy how we've learned nothing from the rise of Trump and allowed exactly the same thing to happen.
- i think farage and ukip preceded tumphans_glib
- true. I guess the second incarnation then. The media / political class had a chance to expose his politics but didn't take it.Fax_Benson
- Now they're throwing dodgy money / russian links etc at him but it's too late. Same as Trump.Fax_Benson

anyone voting in the eu elections here in gb? seems totally pointless (not to say a waste of £150m or so) but equally i feel it's important to take part.
and who to vote for? useless liberals as the only antibrexit party - an utterly pointless stance - or farige to tell the politicos to just get on with it?
- it's an impossible choice. If it is to be seen as a mandate for a brexit strategy, I don't want to support any on offerFax_Benson
- I was very slightly considering voting Brexit Party but can't bring myself to do it.Fax_Benson
- I've got no fucking clue, so maybe Labour?Fax_Benson
- meh

at this point, given mps' inability to do anything good for anyone, there seem only two ways to go:
1: crash out
2: cancel the whole thingif 1, then ffs let's do it quickly while it's warm
if 2, we'd better be ready for some major internal strife- agree, although #2 doesn't cancel it. It just turns it up and makes it last forever.Fax_Benson
- Perhaps our little country actually needs some internal strife - clearly there's a massive imbalance and a lot of resentment, irrespective of the EU.Nairn
- it's funny for me - when I was out of uni they were talking about a 'Northern Assembly' to counter Westminster. in the 20+ years since, same problems, no changeNairn
- This is the UKs(well... Englands) 2nd chance for independence since we split from the Vatican. Only this one will be a disaster.shapesalad
- Nairn0
2b. Rescind British Parliament entirely, defer everything going forward to the EU.
Clearly our shower of cunts are no use for anything anyway.
- or do it all ourselves via referendum apps on our phones. For every decision.Fax_Benson
- You're sitting on the toilet reading twitter. bzz bzz. Sack Chris Graying Y/N?Fax_Benson
