Me: "Download as zip"
DB: The zip file is too large. Please add it to your Dropbox.
Me: ugghh.. here we go.. "Add to Dropbox"
DB: "You can't complete this operation because you are out of space. Buy more space."One of my clients uses it and I have no option other than to use this service. I don't want to give them a single dollar because I dislike their product. It's frustrating that they force you to sign up by holding files hostage, but I do not negotiate with dropbox.
Help me out here, my folder looks empty.
Another client shared a lot of folder with me, the project is done, I don't want to delete files on their server but It seems like if they are shared with me, dropbox thinks my folder is full, what can I do for them not to be shared with me, without deleting anything on my client's folder?

What's so hard for the client to click a damn link and download the file from WeTransfer?
That or http://www.piedpiper.com/

The old Pied Piper “flute player” logo was referencing the fairy-tale character and in no way was meant to suggest a sexual act involving either the mouth or ear of the figure depicted. Apologies to any who were offended, and the logo has been changed to our current green “PP”!

Miguex, did you try to get the FREE space from them yet?
Maybe it'll be enough to help.

I have no choice over picking another method. That's why I dislike dropbox.
Here is the basic scenario so you can see what I'm dealing with. I work at music festivals mixing visuals for djs. 80% of djs have their own visuals kit that I need to download. On an average festival there are from 8 to 16 djs that I need to download kits from. All of them use different ways to host their own kits. I ONLY have problems with those hosting files on dropbox. Yes, if you choose to use it you love as the owner of those files. But it is a nightmare for those who dont. I much rather download files from russian based hosting files opening 4 pop ups without my authorization and deceiving me with multiple download buttons than deal with dropbox ransom ways.
every other file sharing site is smooth as hell, I get in a good mood when I get a festival with no artists hosting on dropbox, I celebrate those little things in life most peopele give for granted. I get happier, I work better, I high five strangers on the street. This was not one of those days.

I loathe Dropbox, particularly having to pay for it - I only use it for one of my projects, primarily because my partner there does.
I've been meaning to set up something a bit smarter but I always forget. 'Til I see another £8 pop out of my account, making me rage again. (No, £8 a month isn't much.. .but then DB doesn't fundamentally offer much and I can achieve what it does, better, for free if I Just Fucking Bother).
