Ok so I finally saw it and:
Was I entertained? Yes.
Was it good? No.
Was it bad? No.It was ok.
- After hearing everyone rave about it, this was my reaction too. Deadpool got me to swear off seeing Marvel/DC movies in the theatre.noneck

Deadpool 2 was funny as hell. The story wasn't great though. There is this plot with some mutant kid and it makes up the majority of the story, and it literally could have been totally cut out. It was unnecessary and stupid. They tried to do way too much. It really should have been a simple revenge story like the first was. Fell into the sequel trap. Got a lot more money to play with so do more! Meh.
But it was worth the price of admission for the jokes alone.

Saw it a few nights ago. I dug the Rob Liefeld references. I was properly entertained.
They def have nailed the essence of Deadpool in this film. Also: the cinematography and fight choreography was stellar.
