What monitor do you use?

I started doing freelance. (Html5 ad stuff). But I feel like I need to invest in a monitor at home. I'm sort of confused at the tech and the prices are all over the place.
What do you use at home?

I use an imac which I just bought. Its not the retina model but it looks excellent. I used to have a widescreen HP for my PC which was cheap and pretty nice. HP Compaq LA something.

I have 27" imac retina 5k and a pretty solid monoprice hi-res monitor. I've had the dells in the past, but this happened to be a better value at the time (about 9 months old now).

I've been a believer in the value of the Dell ultrasharp line for many years now.
Currently running two 24" ultrasharp displays. One is about 8 or 9 years old and still going strong. The other I just picked up about a year ago.
I can't seem to get the color between the two of them to match perfectly, but I do exclusively web stuff and for me it's more than good enough. On the whole, the color rendering is good, the sharpness is great, and I've never had any problems with refresh rate, dead pixels, etc...
