First episode was pretty good, gotta say. It's all about the Mike story for me.

digging it so far

downloading episode 2..
i really liked the first episode. i like seeing the crazy that Saul will become, but seeing his early days still fidgeting for his role is so fun and awesome. i also like the camera angles especially in the opening scenes and the black and white really set a "mood"

Tuco is a great character. What a nutcase.

i never watched BB so I don't have any baggage or expectations to bring into this show. So far I'm impressed. Well written, complex characters, great acting.

So far, this show feels like an excellent remake of the Rockford Files. And i'm thankful for that.

n episode 2 brought me back. don't know what others were saying about things being "slow" perhaps their lives are just plain old boring and all they do is watch tv and post on qbn or yay or who gives a fuck..
i liked episode 2 a lot.. i liked how Saul was bumping into people in the hallways of the court house.. reminded me of 5th NYC during tourist season. i miss those days.
oi i like this new show.
+!
[not 1, thats plus more than your imagination can imagine something]

Didn't the through-and-through on Mike shoulder hit the post behind him. Wouldn't that leave DNA evidence? The show takes place a bit in the past, but not that far. Maybe it'll come up.
- *Mike's shoulderETM
- You might have a point Serpico but we know he'll never get caught cause we've seen the future!!!
HAYZ1LLLA - Was he still an active cop when things went down or retired? His DNA might no have been on file.ETM
- *not on file.
Damn you keyboard!ETM - And this is supposed to be the 90s? DNA didn't come into policing until the late 90'sArmandoEstrada
- Umm... DNA evidence starting showing up in court cases back in 1986. So it's been around a while.ETM
- Also Saul is 2002/2003, isn't it? It's supposed to be 6 year prior to BB.ETM
- Sept 2009 was the date of Walt's 50th bday.ETM
- Good point. There must be blood and a bullet somewhere there.bainbridge

I really dig the whole moral quandary of James McGill vs Slippin' Jimmy (or Saul).
However I'm hoping that there will be some episodes of him getting into some straight criminal shit, dealing more with the gangs and the drugs and what have you.
I love the scams and the schemes.

Damn. Welcome back Mike. Nice performance by Jonathan.

So should we assume the idea of leaving those files at his brothers was knowing that his brother couldn't resist and likely will end up doing a lot of the work... or at least the organization for him?
Or is it just for his brother to be nosy about to reinforce the notion he is "fully legit" in the elder law biz.
- the brother will die..
never existed in BB..epill - yes... but not the question I was asking.ETM
- I think he left it there, because he was looking to let his brother he was legit, although didn't know the right form numbersMiguex
- So when he gets that big office the brother doesn't suspect he is doing dirty things, is kinda like his conscience, once he is gone... SAUL WILL BE BORNMiguex
- AWWW SHITMiguex
- But throwing out the wrong form number seemed fully intentional, not a mistake.ETM
- Why doesn't he work with his brother?freedom
- the brother will die..

Pango sez: "...That's when he completely losses his moral."
That's the thing tho - i think this second episode highlighted some stuff that was made really clear in breaking bad: he actually tries to stick to legalities as much as he can.. i dont think he ever really abandons his morals.. when he does shit he knows is wrong he always expresses pretty clear remorse or at least 'discomfort'... I think if anything he dances in moral grey area, but he always makes sure there's one foot in 'the right'...
that's my impression from BB and from these first 2 AWESOME episodes.
Huge BB fan & fucking loving this show so far. I was worried it would be a campy variation of "The Office" type thing or something, but this far exceeds my expectations. It's like a perfect continuation of breaking bad.
