nice points mg33
also, having the possibility to select our ''Favorite threads" with a list of them on our profile page would be cool.
Talking about profile page. A simple public profile page would be cool. With our stats like we have on QBN. A brief intro and a pic. And links to our websites. And where we're from. Like the current QBN. Its cool i think.

for any QBN replacement to work we've got to bring the whole database with us.

- I don't mind a fresh start if needs be.HAYZ1LLLA
- I wouldn't mind it starting afresh tbhfadein11
- and everyone get on like a house on fire - a nice new start - wipe the slate cleanfadein11
- We'd have to devise a way for people to verify who they are in order to stop people taking....set
- other people's usernames, but other than that I don't see a problem with starting fresh.set
- interesting, set... perhaps the accounts can be pre-built and distributed privatelymonospaced

- Responsive and mobile friendly and with newer tech.monospaced
- At the moment, the 'newer tech' are jpg's. It's the tech that's missing.d0mino
- plus it's independent of qbn, which might not be around forever...exador1
- The point is that it would play nicely with phones/tablets... And would be under our control so wouldn't disappear suddenlyset

Personally I would like to have...
- public forum
- ability to navigate to first or last post (by clicking either the title or the post count number)
- ability to favourite topics and view list
- dog ear function
- very light moderation (spam, serious abuse)Maybes...
- open membership
- edit post function - (?)
- favourite posts (?)- edit post could be dangerous... maybe only within the first 2 minutes?monospaced
- I too thought the timer thing is ideal, just for spelling corrections. I think we're getting ahead of ourselves though hahset
- +1. As long as people are willing to devote the time to moderate (fairly), I think open membership is goodukit2
- It might be possible to build in automated constraints against spam like Reddit does...more advanced feature thoughukit2
- I like free speech. I'd only ever delete serious abuse and spam personally.set

I quite like the idea of one thread only viewable to logged in members, for work in progress feedback. Sometimes I'd like to post stuff but don't really want it public.

I can offer nothing apart from my congratulations... nice work set and Hombre_Lobo!
