anything free out there with unlimited projects?
- yeah, Adobe hosts sites for free as part of CC, and building a port site is quick with Musemonospaced

- so, it's not really free...doesnotexist
- well, it's free if you consider it an add-on to just using the software!monospaced
- 5 free sites, unlimited storage, it's about as free as one can get while still controlling the sitemonospaced

i'm paying 17/month for a service with a lot of issues so i'm looking for something cheaper. the only good thing about aphotofolio was that they gave me ftp access but they just scrapped that so i can just get dropbox for 10/month for 1tb
- the more i look at squarespace the more i'm liking itJG_LB

hijo, how has your experience been with espacio cuadrado?
- HijoDMaite0
I'm paying 20 bucks a month for everything. I get customer service 24/7, my portfolio, my domain name, my blog, and a complete store to sell prints all linked to my bank account.
of course I have the ability to customize everything but I don't code so I stick with one of their photography templates.
check it out: www.jarmstrongphoto.com it's still a work in progress...
- very nice, i'm considering the $16/moJG_LB
- its the same one, if you pay monthly it goes to $20HijoDMaite

funny that we're paying for this these days... do you remember guys we used to make our own websites? :)
- we had to pay for those too, well the hostingJG_LB
- but not as much as 15-20$/months. Just the hosting is cheaper.benfal99
- and our websites didnt' all look the same ;)benfal99
- Carg0 is like $55-$60 a year. thats like $5 a month.iCanHazQBN

http://koken.me/ is cool and free, but, I don't know why but it is suuuuuuuper slow on my server. I'm with Bluehost. When I click a link in my website, it can take 10-15sec to move.
I would use it if it was quick.
I dunno if the problem is koken or Bluehost...
- you might try caching stuff with a CDN like cloudflare.comvaxorcist

html, css, javascript.
- that's fine for all you dev headsdoesnotexist
- It's tempting to take these skills up even though I'm not a developer. I haven't worked on web sites in a long time.CyBrainX

i'm pretty close to switching to espacio. i'm not 100% on the theme i like but i think i can compromise. plus with google drive as a file delivery service i don't need ftp. only concern is getting contact sheet galleries to clients, but i just found a method through the public folder in dropbox.

Would you build your portfolio on tumblr? Is it a good idea to upload all your copyrighted images on the server of a third party like this?
