I've had a client ask for a logo...they already have an icon and name combo, but they have a new product and want to tack on an 'extra word' effectively making their brand / logo 3 distinct parts.
They suggested adding the word 'in a different font'...but I think that's a little unimaginative.
Can anyone think of any examples please?

There's no examples because it's a bad idea. It starts to look like a jumbled mess.
