In retrospect rereading these comments by Sam Altman from the beginning of the year ("We are now confident we know how to build AGI as we have traditionally understood it")...I think what he really meant was "we have no idea how to build AGI."

Been banned on a bunch of AI art/video filmmaking subreddits the last few weeks.
Recently on an AI video thread they called the guy an 'artist', I commented "artist?" Banned.
On a filmmaking sub that does not allow any AI what so ever, I said something about AI becoming very much part of a standard VFX workflow, it's normal, it's everywhere, and it's saving online artists hours and hours of time. Banned.
Seems there's two groups forming. People who love AI and people who hate AI. Both with their heads in the sand.
