His family will use this, children who are used to Windows, that's why he doesn't want or need a Mac. Makes perfect sense.

I'd get a chromebook if I didn't need a mac or adobe.
If need adobe, no idea. Most good pc laptops look like macbook rip offs and are about the same price anyway. You're looking at a marginal difference in $- haven't seen one that looks like a macbook and there is a huge difference in cost.fadein11
