An agency emailed me out of the blue about doing some work for them.
I met with them and they were nice, but I guess the project fell through and they didn't need anyone anymore.
So the last email from my contact said he was sorry and "keep in touch". I don't know anyone who works there and they reached out to me first. Is that line just a formality, or am I supposed to try to actually keep in touch so they can keep thinking of me?

Yeah, most definitely check in and touch base in a month or two.
- Do I just say hello and tell them that I am available if they might need me?omahadesigns

Move on. Give them a call in 6 months just to let them know you're available for some freelance work.

Don't get attention much? That's the silliest question I've ever heard in my life.
When a super hot chick breaks plans with you but she says, "keep in touch" are you NOT going to fucking call her?
