Home survival kit is one thing, but i was more thinking of some supply in case of a major accident or terrorists attack in the subway or even at work (iam working in a governement building, its a possibility) Also iam working at 25feets in the ground at the 3rd basement, if the building iam working in collapse of something, i would have that bag at my desk.

we're buying all sort of insurances for many thing, but a kit like that can cost less than 100$ and last your entire life. Just some small tools that can make the difference in some scenario.

I started thinking about this the other day, and although I wouldn't carry that stuff everyday, I started researching for a good survival book to have around. I dowloaded a couple pdf's to see how they're like and was not happy with any of them.. have to check out the store for something more hands on. A book with lots of info is probably more useful than those tools, because it teaches you how to make tools etc.. but a swiss army knife is always handy, even with no apocalypse shit.

dont come to Mexico, the only survivors down here will be Narcos because their the only ones with guns. Im heading to my father in laws beach ranch, hes self sufficient with food, cows, pigs, chickens and about 40 acres of avocados, mangos and other stuff, but once a narco wants it, were screwed because I only have 6 Katanas and they cant block bullets. I can handle the zombies though.

One thing I always see missing from BOBs is a map. You don't think you'll need it, but once that WiFi/data plan goes down, you'll likely wish you had a map.
