So just had to come back and respond to this one. I purchased a metalheadz shirt that just came in yesterday.
It's printed on one of these (black) shirts, and it feels / fits awesome.

It's mid-wight but soft and really nice. 100% turkish cotton I guess says the label.

AA 50/50 are my favorites for summer and undershirts year round. They fit slim / long which is great - because most other ones fit like tents made for fatasses. (I'm 6'5")
For a more heavyweight ones I'm quickly becoming a fan of the uniqlo brand as well.
H&M surprisingly has _decent_ shirts, but they are a bit cheaply made. Can't really bitch for $5 though.
- AA 50/50s are great yes
h&m's sizes are crazydoesnotexist - agree the h&m ones fit weird. i mostly use for undershirts in the winter under my button upssublocked

For non-wholesale, i like Kirkland crewnecks, and Calvin Klein crewnecks, (for a little more fitted).
But wholesale brands, I'm trying to figure out. I hear good things about EI-LO http://www.ei-lo.com and Tultex surprisingly.
Attempting to strike a balance between street wear and athletic hipster. Impossible I know.

I have a bunch of American Apparel tees – tri-blend are my favorite.
